Job Summary/Description:
KFDA Newschannel10 the market leader is looking for our next Reporter to join our winning team here in Amarillo Texas. This position will involve daily news coverage of local topics live shots and breaking news coverage. We are looking for a good storyteller who wants to learn in a winning Team environment. The right candidate will be able to write and communicate in a way that is clear and conversational.
We are searching for a driven journalist to fit this stringent role. You will be an integral part of the top news team in the area bringing unique local stories from enterprising ideas to telling polished effective stories live onair and digital platforms.
Please note the primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed above
Qualifications/Requirements:
. Ability to and edit video and effectively communicate on live television.
. Flexibility in scheduling to respond to the changing news landscape
. A fouryear degree in journalism or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
. Works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
