Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Create precise and detailed 3D CAD models of jewellery designs using software such as Matrix.
Interpret design briefs hand sketches and conceptual ideas into 3D models suitable for rendering and manufacturing.
Collaborate with designers merchandisers and production teams to ensure designs meet technical and aesthetic standards.
Make revisions based on feedback from clients or internal stakeholders.
Ensure CAD files are organized optimized and compatible with CAM and 3D printing technologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends in jewellery design materials and manufacturing techniques.
Occasionally assist in creating photorealistic renders or presentation visuals for marketing or client approval.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Jewellery Design CAD Design or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software .
Strong understanding of jewellery construction and manufacturing processes (casting stone setting etc..
Attention to detail creativity and an eye for aesthetics.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Portfolio demonstrating 3D CAD work in jewellery is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with rendering tools (KeyShot VRay etc. is a plus.
Knowledge of gemstones and metal properties.
Familiarity with 3D printing technologies used in jewellery.
