Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic visionary and studentcentered leader to serve as Deputy Head for our IGCSE division. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal and leadership team to uphold academic excellence support staff development and promote a nurturing inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & School Culture
Collaborate with the Principal and senior leaders to shape and communicate the school s strategic vision.
Lead the implementation of operational plans aimed at cultivating a highperforming and valuesdriven culture.
Promote inclusivity restorative practices and a growth mindset throughout the school community.
Curriculum & Teaching Excellence
Partner with curriculum coordinators to align the IGCSE program with international standards and local requirements.
Oversee academic planning including timetables school events and cocurricular programming.
Use student performance data and classroom observations to enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes.
Staff Development & Performance
Support recruitment on boarding and continuous professional development of faculty.
Provide constructive feedback through lesson observations walkthroughs and performance reviews.
Foster a collaborative positive work environment that encourages innovation and shared leadership.
Facilitate staff meetings and professional learning communities (PLCs) to drive continuous improvement.
Student Support & Wellbeing
Ensure consistent application of behavior policies grounded in respect empathy and fairness.
Collaborate with the Student Support Team to address academic emotional and social needs.
Serve as a visible approachable leader who fosters strong relationships with students and empowers their voices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Education or relevant field
IGCSE/Cambridge teaching experience; leadership certification preferred
Minimum 8 years in education with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong grasp of the Cambridge curriculum and modern pedagogical practices
