Senior Night Manager at Canopy by Hilton London City
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Night Manager to join the team at Canopy by Hilton London City.
Reporting to theFrontofHouse Manager you will be fully responsible for theHotels operation.
About the role
Reporting to the FrontofHouse Manager you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel overnight and be responsible for thesafety of our guests and businessattend toall guests needswhile ensurethat the Night Audit functions are completedas required by the brand standards.
- Take ownership ofthe hotel and the teams across all thedepartments
- Have extensive experience with Property Management Systems (ONQ experience desirable)
- Implementreviewandcontroldepartmental policies SOPs and other training programmes ensuring they are in line with UKs regulations and Hiltons standards.
- Responsible to controlthe departmental budget ensuring that that productivity and performance levels are attained.
- Operate in compliance with Canopy by Hilton brand standards and all local laws and government regulations.
- Lead theteam in the daytoday operations ensuring its high quality maintaining &exceedingstandards and meeting the expectations of theguests
- Ensure compliance with all Frontof Housestandards and procedures including all relevant Brand Standards.
- Ensurethe teamare trained regularly and adhere to all hotel policies and procedures including H&S and Fire Safety.
- Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
- Encourage and build mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members. Serve as a role model to always demonstrate appropriate behaviours within the business by leading from the front by demonstrating a positive cando attitude.
About the candidate
A qualifiedNightManager with experience in Hilton Hotels and at least 2 years experience in the upscale market in a similar role. Comprehensive knowledge ofOnQPMS ishighly desirable. Hotel opening experience is highly desirable.
- You will be a strong relationship builder and be confident in any decisionmaking process.
- You will demonstrate a positive leadership style and creative thinking. You will be an advocate of empowerment andhave the ability tomotivate the team and develop a strong succession plan.
- You will have the ability to communicate internally with relevant departments to ensure the team is setup for success be able to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs.
- You willbe a dynamic team player with a flexible approach and have experience in managing a team to successfullyachieve the hotels goals.
- You must have outstanding planning want you tobeable to managemultipleprojects at once with a close attention to detail andwillingness to be flexible.
