Job Description
Job Title: Veterinary Medical Receptionist
Job Summary:
Ovens and Kiewa Veterinary Hospital in Myrtleford Victoria is seeking an experienced Veterinary Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and patients. This role involves welcoming clients in person and over the phone managing administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have midsenior level experience in a similar role.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and checkin patients
Answer phone calls and emails promptly
Coordinate appointments with veterinarians
Maintain office cleanliness
Direct phone calls to appropriate staff members
Manage office inventory and supplies
Assist with debt collection client communications and account queries
Qualifications:
Midsenior level experience as a receptionist or customer service representative
Knowledge of veterinary practices preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent
Custom Instructions: This position is parttime with hours between 8:45am 6pm MondayFriday. Rotating Saturday mornings 8:45am 12:30pm) every 4th or 5th weekend required. Please note that this position does not lead into nursing as it is a frontofhouse role. To apply please send your resume to
