Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!

Description

The Software Engineer develops maintains and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g. processing intensive analytics novel algorithm development manipulation of extremely large data sets realtime systems and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.

  • Software architecture and design planning
  • DevOps or sustainment/lifecycle management of systemoperational software or services
  • Telemetry data
  • Implementing and documenting dataflow or systemtelemetry pipeline
  • Dara movement and volume estimations
  • Linux Linux tools Bash scripting
  • Programming in Python
  • Supports work across teams to write or enable queries for specialized metrics collection products and ensure that system performance is maintained
  • Leadership skills and/or experience with leading an effort
  • Communicative collaborative and organized
  • Familiar with and able to perform full softwaredevelopment lifecycle support with versioncontrol tools (Git GitLab)
  • Works independently as well as with a team to ensure that all components are functioning properly
  • Will stay abreast of latest industry trends in both open source and commercial metrics and monitoring solutions. Supports determination of ifandwhen to incorporate them into an IaC solution
  • Willing to and able to learn new tools and protocols

Recommended Skills and Experience

  • Splunk Elastic syslogng ryslog Kafka Logstash and/or Ansible
  • Message brokers and data movement tools
  • Data analysis

Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K $250K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including but not limited to Contract Wage Determination relevant work experience skills and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
