Shared Living Outreach Assistant Director
Developmental and Brain Injury Services Division (DBIS)
Full Time
Salary:
$50000 annually
Using Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies all DBIS staff are professional team members responsible for supporting each individuals right to live a safe enjoyable meaningful life at home and in the community. As cooperative team members we support environments that foster creative opportunities for the changing needs and desires of the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion housing stability by helping individuals find and secure safe supportive living environmentsnavigating applications leases and transitions with care.
  • Lead the oversight of systems ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage essential processesincluding MassHealth DTA and housing applicationsensuring accuracy efficiency and timeliness.
  • Build strong respectful relationships with families hospitals physicians and community partnerskeeping everyone informed and aligned.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between individuals and the Department of Developmental Servicesmaintaining open communication and strong advocacy.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations or designee to align program operations and strategy.
  • Provide administrative leadership and organizational support to both the Outreach and Shared Living programs.
  • Respond confidently to emergenciesacting swiftly and responsibly to ensure safety and wellbeing.
  • Uphold and enforce program policies including the highest standards of confidentiality and individual dignity.
  • Step into decisionmaking roles during times of crisis ensuring timely updates and coordination with leadership families and care teams.
  • Maintain a strong reliable presence on the teamconsistently showing up and showing up well.
  • Foster a positive collaborative work environment where individuals coworkers and supervisors feel supported and respected.
  • Act as a mentor and role modelbuilding a culture of integrity loyalty and missiondriven service.
  • Follow ServiceNets professional appearance standards with pride.
  • Protect sensitive information and maintain secure confidential records for all individuals served.
What Youll Bring
  • Experience working in services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities
  • Bachelors Degree preferred in a related field and/or three years fulltime experience working with people who live with developmental delays and/or brain injuries
  • Have and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • CPR & 1st Aid Certification Training provided
  • Medication Certification or must become (MAP) medication certified within 6 months
