About the role
Join our Health & Safety team based in Brighton where youll support teams across our office and manufacturing sites. Youll work closely with teams to promote best practices safety culture and champion a safe and positive working environment
- Manage inbox requests coordinate meetings and support safety forum followup
- Arrange site visits and inspections preparing all required documentation and safety arrangements
- Conduct regular site walks to monitor compliance engage with employees and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and deliver health and safety training including inductions toolbox talks and mandatory courses
- Maintain safety documentation including risk assessments and safe systems of work ensuring accessibility and accuracy Record and analyse safety data to support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement
- Record and analyse safety data to inform policy updates and improvements
- Stay up to date with health and safety legislation attending training to maintain knowledge and support compliance
- Respond to urgent safety concerns and support incident resolution
- Support internal and external audits contributing to the preparation process and implementation of actions
- Work with departments to embed safety into everyday practices
- Travel to Eastbourne as and when required.
What are we looking for
- Strong organisational skills ability to manage a complex workload with high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety policies legislation or similar industry.
