Job Description
THE POSITION

In this role you will administer both CDL and NonCDL knowledge examinations assessing applicants comprehension of the motor vehicle code and traffic signage. You will be tasked with reviewing various documents including applications to confirm their accuracy and legitimacy. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the candidates practical skills in operating a motor vehicle and their adherence to road regulations. You will engage directly with customers working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. This position requires a keen understanding of traffic laws and the ability to effectively communicate with applicants throughout the testing process.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM Tuesday Saturday with a 30minute lunch.
- This position may require overtime and travel.
Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience obtaining evaluating and providing information to the public.
Special Requirements:- This position requires an active Pennsylvania noncommercial Class C Drivers License or equivalent and twentyone years of age at the time of application.
- This position requires no suspensions or revocations of a drivers license during thefiveyearperiod immediately preceding employment.
- All employees in this job hired after February 28 2022 are required to obtain an active unrestricted Class M drivers license within the first six months of employment or before the end of the probationary period and maintain it during employment.

Legal Requirements:- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and NameBased Criminal History Check prior to employment.
