The Opportunity: Ground Control Systems Technician (GCS)
Imagine working inside a cuttingedge oneofakind RPA Operations facility where every day presents a new challenge. As a Ground Control Systems Technician you will be at the heart of our missionsupporting the daily operations of an Air Force RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) control station. In this role youll immerse yourself in tech maintenance using Air Force Technical Data to keep our advanced systems in peak condition. Your contributions will include troubleshooting installing innovative IT equipment and testing new gear all while collaborating with experts from various fields and taking on projects that stretch your skills.
This isnt a 9to5 jobits a 24/7/365 operating environment that demands a flexible mindset and a readiness to work rotating shifts ensuring our mission never stops.
What Youll Be Doing
Maintenance and Innovation: Deliver daily maintenance servicing and repair for RPA ground control stations. Lead the charge in installing new hardware and software and support exciting system initiatives.
Precision and Documentation: Accurately document maintenance data complete air crew debriefings and keep meticulous records in compliance with Technical Orders using the IMDS system. Your attention to detail will ensure every discrepancy is tracked and addressed.
Collaboration in Action: Work handinhand with a diverse team of experts while also flexing your independent problemsolving skills on moderately complex projects.
Who Were Looking For
Educational and Technical Expertise: A Bachelors Degree paired with up to 2 years of electronics experience (or relevant experience substituting a degree) that offers you a solid grounding in electronics maintenance and repair.
Technical Savvy: Ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and data tables plus proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Adaptability: A readiness to work on nontraditional schedules in our roundtheclock environment and the physical capability to handle heavy items.
Security Clearances: A current TOP SECRET SCI Security Clearance is required to be a vital part of this elite team.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50050.00 $90475.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
