Position Summary:
Seeking a motivated Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Punta Gorda FL office. In this role you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to support a variety of municipal and environmental projects including water/wastewater systems site development stormwater management and more. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills gain handson project experience and grow within a supportive engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support: Assist senior engineers and project managers in the planning design permitting and documentation of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Design & Drafting: Develop preliminary plans calculations and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Perform field investigations review reports and drawings and assist in analyzing data to inform engineering solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Help ensure designs and deliverables meet local state and federal regulations.
• Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with internal staff clients and external stakeholders providing updates on project progress and addressing technical inquiries.
• Continuous Learning: Pursue professional development opportunities stay current with industry best practices and obtain professional licensure.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field).
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification desired.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and selfmanagement abilities.
• Internship or coop experience is a plus but not required.
