Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Chief Radiation Medicine Technologist and under the general supervision delivers accurate dosages of radiation using uptodate equipment and documents same in order to fulfill the prescription given by the physician and provide quality patient care.

Department: Radiation Oncology
Schedule: 40 hours Days)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Work requires knowledge of Radiation Medicine acquired through completion of an Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Must have current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Work requires knowledge of department policies and procedures familiarity with equipment and proper setup of equipment normally acquired through 1 to 3 years onthejob training.
- Work requires analytical ability to determine proper setup of equipment and patients and to also detect adverse reactions to treatments.
- Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to work with others and deal effectively with patients.
