As a parttime Mathnasium Instructor you will be trained on the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods. Math skills in the following areas are desirable but not required: Algebra 1 & 2 Geometry Algebra 3 Trigonometry & PreCalculus.
Our instructors experience daily the impact they make. Mathnasium provides for success by finding the right starting point (through diagnostic testing) and building a childs confidence and selfesteem through an individualized lesson plan.
This is a parttime position varying from about 6 to 25 hrs per week depending on the programs you are able to instruct and your availability. Flexible work hours are in afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 7:30pm; Sunday 1pm 5pm.
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for mathematics
A passion for working with students
Mathematics competency through at least Algebra II
Good social and communication skills
College level mathematics or class room education course work
Willingness to learn the Mathnasium teaching methods
Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to students
- Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value
- Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
- Teach incenter using the Mathnasium Method terminology and teaching practices
Mathnasium provides supplementary math instruction to students in grades 212. Mathnasium prepares the curriculum and materials. Mathnasium is a recognized international brand and is an excellent resume enhancer. You can make the difference in students lives and inspire a lifelong love of math!
Our passionate instructors provide personalized math instruction in any of the following areas: Elementary Middle and High school math.

All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency provide work authorization and pass a background check. Following hiring the new team member is required to complete training in the Mathnasium Method. This is a parttime role with flexible hours.

Compensation: $15.00 $18.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
