Position Overview:
As an Indirect Regional Supplier Manager at Micron Technology Inc. you will be theprimary category point of contact for supplier interactions supplier performance management and negotiations. This role involves partnering with internal collaborators to lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects including cost reduction initiatives supply base optimization and contract negotiation. Additional responsibilities include negotiating contract commercial terms & conditions and pricing to leverage spend leading and participating in department projects and serving as a contact for regional supplier information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Supplier Relationship Regionally (in North America)
- Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals renegotiation of prices transfers etc.
- Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers in category
- Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers
- Ensure suppliers align with Microns codeofconduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
- 5 years experience in strategic sourcing
- Experience in contract redlining/reviewing (including Service Agreements Statements of Work Software licensing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work well in a highpace dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Strong problem solving and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills high level of accuracy and attention to detail
