Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA) founded in 2012 offers premier early childhood education. The Georgia PreK Project Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of the Georgia PreK program at Big Blue Marble Academy. This role ensures compliance with state regulations maintains highquality standards and fosters a nurturing learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with Bright from the Start and (DECAL) regulations and guidelines.
- Supervise and support Prek teachers and staff to maintain a high quality learning environment.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and instructional best practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Manage enrollment processes student attendance and class rosters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families providing communication and support as needed.
- Coordinate professional development and training opportunities for staff.
- Monitor program performance and implement improvement strategies as necessary.
- Manage program budgets resources and materials efficiently.
- Conduct regular assessments and ensure proper documentation of student progress.
- Serve as a liaison between the school DECAL and other stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Familiar with Georgia Prek Program requirements and Bright from the Start (DECAL) guidelines
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is typically required
- skills in mentoring coaching and supporting lead and assistant teachers
- experience with conducting classroom observations
- strong grasp of licensing requirements and Prek standards
- Proficiency in scheduling maintaining accurate records and managing budgets or grant funds
