The Customer Sales Lead will drive Kraft Heinz selling efforts strategic development and supply chain initiatives via the Customer Business Team (CBT). The position will lead a business structure organized around customers to enhance category focus. As the owner of your categories you will demonstrate Kraft Heinz scale and brands at the customer level to drive the broader business strategies poised to develop profitable volume and share.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Liaison to the customer and Kraft Heinz HQ Sales organization

  • Drives excellent customer service by establishing positive business relationships with decision makers & providing category management expertise programs at the retail level by utilizing internal and external data sources (IRI Luminate Numerator etc.

  • Elevates customer relationship and builds indispensable partnership with retailer

  • Leads and/or assists with major business reviews and customer visits including annual reviews and toptotop meetings

  • Leads crossfunctional business planning in category management supply chain efficiency technology and customer marketing

  • Builds Kraft Heinz business with customer measured by profitability achievement share gains revenue targets special programs new and core item introductions/distribution

  • Mentors manages & coaches cross functional partners and sales analysts through assessment of talent providing constructive and timely feedback and establishing practical development plans

  • Harnesses the power of diversity thinking background and experience

  • Strong financial competence inclusive of previous experience owning a P&L proficiency in deploying trade financial forecasting and understanding of profit and revenue drivers

  • Significant experience in building customer relationships preferably in a CPG environment

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Be consistent across the job posting interview assessments and the job itself

  • Include skills that are observable measurable and assessable (speaking to their criticality to the role and business)

  • Proven experience leading brands or account sales & building customer relationships with top tier retailers.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with ability to sell with data turning insights into action.

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to collaborate and build effective partnerships at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong financial competence including proficiency in deploying trade and understanding of financial drivers.

  • Strong negotiation skills and persuasive selling skills.

  • Significant experience in building customer relationships preferably in a CPG environment.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations stores manufacturing facilities etc.; offices are open workspaces Additionally this role requires working a salaried exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

Physical Requirements

Physical demands include but not limited to

  • Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed

  • Operate a computer and view screens for 100 of work schedule

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$159400.00 $199200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performancebased bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region jobrelated knowledge skills and experience among other factors
