About the role:
We have a number of vacancies for highly motivated Dental Assistants to work casually at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your dental assisting skills and experience within a fastpaced and friendly team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Clinical Chairside assisting with a Dentist or Specialist on the ward.
- Providing oral health education and promotion to our patients.
- Preparing maintaining and managing the clinical environment including equipment materials and instruments in line with the treatment plan to enhance efficient patient care.
You will have:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or Certificate in Dental Nursing. Please note: Overseas trained dentists must have a qualification in Dental Assisting from an Australian RTO).
- An uptodate Victorian Employee Working with Childrens Check.
- 12 months of experience working chairside assisting.
- Knowledge of patient care processes techniques and terminology with an oral health environment.
