What Youll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Outside Sales Field Trainer with a strong background in virtual onboarding to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both inperson field training and remote onboarding of new sales representatives. This hybrid role combines handson coaching and development with virtual training to ensure sales teams are equipped with the tools knowledge and strategies needed to succeed in the field. The Outside Sales Field Trainer will be a critical resource for new hires and current sales team members enhancing performance boosting morale and driving success in both virtual and field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Onboarding:
    • Lead comprehensive virtual onboarding programs for new sales representatives ensuring they are properly introduced to the company sales processes products and tools.
    • Deliver engaging and informative virtual training sessions through webinars video calls and eLearning platforms guiding new hires through essential onboarding materials.
    • Provide ongoing virtual support and coaching during the initial stages of new hires integration into the sales team answering questions and offering guidance on best practices.
    • Coordinate with HR and Sales Leadership to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and a seamless virtual training experience.

  • Field Training & Development:
    • Conduct inperson training sessions and ridealongs with sales representatives to reinforce skills learned virtually and in reallife client interactions.
    • Provide onthejob coaching focusing on improving performance sales techniques relationshipbuilding and closing strategies in the field.
    • Work closely with sales representatives to identify performance gaps develop individualized coaching plans and offer constructive feedback.
    • Ensure consistency across the sales team by promoting best practices effective sales processes and product knowledge.

  • Sales Process & Product Knowledge:
    • Lead training on product offerings competitive advantages and industry trends for both new hires and experienced sales reps.
    • Stay uptodate with the latest product information and market changes to effectively communicate key selling points during field training and virtual sessions.
    • Assist in the development of training materials and resources to ensure clarity and consistency of information for virtual and inperson training sessions.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Monitor the progress of new hires throughout their onboarding and field training providing timely feedback and adjusting training strategies as needed.
    • Track sales performance data and provide regular reports to sales leadership on the effectiveness of training initiatives including virtual onboarding and field development.
    • Collaborate with management to address areas of improvement provide additional training and offer ongoing support to enhance sales performance.

  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate with the Sales HR and Training teams to identify new hire needs updates to training materials and any adjustments to training processes.
    • Build strong relationships with sales representatives fostering a supportive and motivational learning environment.
    • Ensure alignment between virtual onboarding and field training to provide a consistent cohesive experience for all new sales hires.
