Job Description
Jr. Data Engineer needed in McKinney Texas to work in an Amazon Web Services Big Data/Data Warehousing environment. Applicants must have the minimum of a masters degree in Information Systems or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer in design and development of both 3NF and Star Schema Logical and Physical Data Models using Umbrello Athena enginespecific SQL (all versions) Glue Jobs using Scala Lambda Functions using Nodejs StepFunctions CloudFormation Templates using YAML Ubuntu Linux shell scripting using Bash Shell via Docker containers in AWS Batch and understanding of time zones time zone conversions and Daylight Saving Time observance offset and conversion. Position is workfromhome and allows telecommuting from within the US.
