The Opportunity
The Project Manager Integration is responsible for managing the integration of clinical equipment technology requirements and deliverables into the overall QEII New Generation project plans processes and schedules. In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight of workstream interdependencies including design specifications equipment sourcing and procurement variations risk impacts integrated commissioning and document control. Reporting to the Project Director this position will ultimately oversee the integration between Project Delivery Clinical Equipment and ICAT workstreams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and on budget.
What youll do
Responsibilities
- Responsible for project management planning of assigned project tasks within the QEII New Generation project including the integration of Clinical Equipment and ICAT deliverables.
- Provide leadership and effective consultation throughout the planning design construction commissioning and transition stages of the project.
- Act as the main point of contact between the Project Delivery team and the Clinical Equipment and ICAT teams.
- Attend all project clinical equipment ICAT steering committee meetings and workshops to facilitate the integration of decisions taken in these meetings within the overall project delivery and to provide insight to interdependencies with other project delivery workstreams.
- Act as a key liaison for project team with redevelopment and operational IMIT and Digital Services.
- Generate milestone tracking and forecasting reports to support the Project Director and stakeholder teams in achieving project milestones.
- Monitor consultant and contractor engagements to ensure projects adhere to the provinces quality safety and performance standards and are achieved on budget and on time.
- Transform assigned project task information into project progress reports and dashboards including comprehensive analysis of project schedule performance schedule forecasts risks and recommended solutions.
- Manage and provide project delivery technical support of clinical equipment and ICAT RFIs and submittals.
- Generate valueadded internal reporting for variations RFI and submittals log for the clinical equipment and ICAT workstreams.
- Provide effective onsite presence for assigned projects to ensure all accountabilities are being achieved in the interest of Build NS.

What youll need
Qualifications
- A university degree in Engineering or other related discipline combined with a minimum of 5 years progressive handson project management experience managing complex largescale projects.
- Professional Engineering designation is a significant asset.
- Experience with Healthcare projects and P3 delivery models is a significant asset.
- Strong business acumen solid experience dealing with project budget schedule and technical requirements as well as financial and legal matters and contract management are required.
- Must have sound stakeholder management skills and experience finding positive solutions to complex issues with clients and diverse teams of project consultants and specialists.
- Advanced presentation consultation negotiation influencing and consensus building skills are required.
- Knowledge of infrastructure project risk analysis and quantitative risk assessments methodology.
- Experience negotiating claims scope changes and other compliance and contractual items on projects is desirable.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as MS Project and other relevant Scheduling software platforms/tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
