Paramedic Emergency Department

Work location: Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road Plano TX 75093
Work hours:
- Full Time Evening shift: 36 hours/week
- Three 12hour Evening shifts per week 11:00am 11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Heres What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship Required
- 1 Year paramedic experience in EMS or fire department Preferred
- Emergency Room experience highly preferred
- EMTP Emergency Medical TechnicianParamedic Upon Hire Required Or
- LP Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire Required
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
- BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required And
- CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training ED Only 90 Days Required
- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fastpaced environment positive interpersonal skills good verbal and written communication skills able to perform basic computer skills.
What You Will Do
Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Paramedics are responsible for providing an excellent patient healthcare experience at each Texas Health site.
- Performs technical skills that are adapted to reflect the populationspecific developmental and diversity needs of the patient.
- Provides safe patient care under the delegation of appropriate Physician and competency signoff.
- Other duties as appropriately delegated by RN.
