Job Description
Lead BackEnd Developer (PHP/ (Socialedge Inc. dba CreatorIQ; Culver City California): Responsible for designing developing and maintaining the backend components of web applications by leveraging a strong command of serverside technologies such as PHP and Golang. Work on the architectural design of the backend systems including database structures APIs and server infrastructure. This includes making decisions about which technologies and frameworks are best suited for the project. Writing efficient clean and scalable code. This may involve building RESTful APIs creating and optimizing database queries and implementing various features and functionalities. Oversee Staff Software Developer. This involves providing technical guidance reviewing code and mentoring through effective communication and team collaboration. Ensure that the backend systems are performant and scalable. This may include load testing optimizing code for speed and efficiency and implementing caching mechanisms. Leverage a good understanding of security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them to implement security best practices to protect the system from potential threats. Manage and optimize databases (SQL or NoSQL). This includes data modeling query optimization and ensuring data integrity. Integrate with thirdparty services and APIs to extend the applications functionality. Maintain thorough documentation for the code and systems for team collaboration and future reference. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that the backend development aligns with the projects goals and timeline. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and related technologies.
