Position Overview:
As a Shop Service Technician at Coastline Equipment you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our machinery. You will work on servicing and maintaining a diverse range of heavy equipment to support the construction mining and forestry industries. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless operation of our equipment enhancing the satisfaction of our customers and the success of their projects. If you are passionate about handson work skilled in diagnostics and repairs and committed to highquality service this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Diagnostics & Repairs: Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics of heavy equipment to identify issues and provide accurate and timely repairs.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and routine servicing to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.
Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and reports for all repairs services and equipment history to ensure compliance and track performance.
Parts & Inventory Management: Order and track parts as needed ensuring adequate inventory to complete repairs in a timely manner.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with Coastline Equipments commitment to safety standards.
Customer Interaction: Collaborate with customers to understand issues and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance services.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and departments to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and resolve them efficiently.
