Role Purpose
This position oversees plant administration coordinates training and HR activities and ensures compliance with legal requirements. The role involves managing HR programs processes and policies promoting Corning Values and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks to support the site maintaining training records aligning training systems with job requirements and managing human resources processes and systems. Ensuring data integrity in training and HR systems is crucial. The position also involves providing weekly performance reports to assist the Plant Leadership Team (PLT) in measuring plant performance and implementing key programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
Administer training information in the training system and provide reports to supervisors and plant leadership as required.
Monitor training compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure adequate training levels before SOP implementation.
Ensure quick and accurate retrieval of training documents for customer audits.
Coordinate new hire orientation and collect necessary documentation.
Update and maintain data integrity in training and HR systems to ensure accuracy.
Organize and follow through on action plans for key projects and programs.
Gather and analyze program and training data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Interface with employees and supervisors to address training and support needs.
Review and audit processes making recommendations for improvements.
Handle information with appropriate confidentiality.
Provide administrative support to the plant manager and staff including executive visit coordination visitor management presentation preparation and group visits/tours.
Prepare and analyze various data reports related to financial headcount recognition reporting time to fill openings plant service annual staffing etc.
Serve as the HR/Payroll administrator
Develop plant communication and training calendars and share them with the organization.
Implement HR programs processes and policies in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements ensuring alignment with Corning Values and positive work environment.
Recommend areas for standardization of HR programs processes and policies to streamline administration and reduce costs.
Enhance HR reputation through valueadded customer interactions.
Analyze and report on data within HR systems.


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Requirements
Associates in Business General Administration or equivalent experience
35 years in a high level administrative coordinator HR administration etc.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Computer Proficiency (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint PeopleSoft SAP KRONOS)
Successful track record in administrative coordinator for a team of individuals or managers in a plant environment preferred
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work with all levels of the organization from executive to employee.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exhibits high degree of candor/discretion and able to handle sensitive and confidential data.
High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
Organizes work and ensures completion in a timely manner
Works well independently or as part of a team
Selfmotivated positive attitude and willingness to help others


This position does not support immigration sponsorship.




The range for this position is $60570.00 $83285.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of jobrelated factors including but not limited to geographic location market demands experience training and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical dental vision 401(k) plan pension plan life insurance coverage disability benefits and PTO.
