About AMS
Aerodrome Management Services (AMS) is a professional services company providing a wide range of technical support and aerodrome management services to aerodrome owners and operators across Australia. Our growing team of aviation specialists provides support to our clients in the areas of aerodrome design project management and construction maintenance technical inspections and aerodrome surveys operational readiness airport security training regulatory compliance audits and ongoing daily operations.
About the position
AMS is currently seeking experienced fulltime and casual Airport Reporting Officers (AROs) for various regional and remote locations. Rostering arrangements are subject to site requirements with the point of hire being Cairns or Darwin. As an ARO you will ensure the safe and secure operation of the airside environment in accordance with relevant regulations and company SOPs.
About You
You understand the vital importance of aerodromes to the aviation industry and you already know this niche sector has a lot going for it! AMS will provide ongoing training and professional development to support this next step in your career but youll already be off to a great start if you have previous experience in the following areas:
ARO qualified by RTO with a minimum of 1 years ARO experience
Familiarity with management systems and tools used in airfield operations
Understanding of CASA regulations and standards
Demonstrated ability to prioritise activities and manage workload to ensure effective management of deadlines and outcomes
Communicate effectively and appropriately with members of the community our clients our staff and contractors onsite
Confidence in your administrative and report writing skills
Current manual drivers licence
Radio Operators Licence
