Maths 2iC Hounslow September 2025 Start
A progressive and highachieving secondary school in Hounslow is on the lookout for a Maths 2iC to join their department from September 2025.
This Maths 2iC role is ideal for a Maths Teacher ready to step into middle leadership or someone already working as Second in Charge of Maths and looking for a fresh opportunity.
As Maths 2iC you will support the Head of Department in driving standards refining curriculum delivery and mentoring junior staff. The Maths 2iC position also involves contributing to departmental planning and intervention strategies that support pupil outcomes across KS3 KS4 and GCSE.
Maths 2iC Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Maths with curriculum development and timetabling
- Teach engaging Maths lessons from KS3 through GCSE
- Lead intervention sessions and track progress data
- Coach and mentor ECTs and less experienced staff
- Contribute to raising attainment and maintaining behaviour standards
What Were Looking For:
- Experienced Maths Teacher with QTS
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence leading teams
- A passion for supporting pupil achievement in Maths
- Experience teaching to a high standard across secondary phases
