Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and be proficient in using various web design tools and technologies. As a Web Designer you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and userfriendly websites that meet our clients needs and enhance their online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Create engaging and responsive website designs.
- Develop and maintain websites using HTML CSS JavaScript and other relevant web design coding languages.
- Ensure websites are optimized for both desktop and mobile use.
- User Experience (UX):
- Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to improve the website design.
- Implement user interface (UI) design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing web pages.
- Work on improving the usability accessibility and overall user experience of the website.
- Graphic Design:
- Design logos icons and other graphic elements for web use.
- Edit and enhance images using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and other tools.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with web developers content creators and marketing teams to align web design projects with business goals.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop innovative web design concepts.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure functionality across various browsers and devices.
- Maintain and update websites as needed ensuring content is current and accurate.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Web Design Graphic Design Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and other web design coding languages.
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator XD) and other relevant tools.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobilefirst design.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress Joomla or Drupal.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries.
- Basic knowledge of backend development and server management.
- Experience in ecommerce website design.
