Compensation: $24 $25 per hour
Work Hours: 20 hours per week onsite: Thursday 12:00 8:00 pm) Saturday and Sunday 10:30 am 5:00 pm) with the option for occasional additional shifts.
Position Summary
The Frye Art Museum seeks a positive dynamic and adaptable team player to join our Learning & Engagement team as a parttime Visitor Services Representative (the VSR). The VSR is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming customer experience for all museum visitors including firsttime guests members donors and program participants. As a key member of the frontline team the VSR is often the first personvisitors encounter and plays an essential role in setting a positive tone for each visitors museum experience.
The VSR is passionate about hospitality and communitybuilding. The VSR delights guests and supports their needs in the moment while also providing information and promoting museum programs that foster deeper engagement and encourage return visits.

Founded in 1952 the Frye is Seattles only free art museum bringing together art and new ideas within a stunning Olson Sundberg Kundigdesigned building in historic First Hill.
The Frye Art Museum connects Seattle with the art and artists of our time. We collect exhibit program and build community around a wide range of modern and contemporary art with a special focus on amplifying the voices of living artists. Admission to the Frye is always free.

About Learning & Engagement at the Frye
The Frye Art Museums Learning & Engagement team creates dynamic and reciprocal programs that connect artists students teachers and community members. We bring people together to learn through experience connecting art inquiry and wellbeing.
Our programs engage people of all ages through ingallery discussions handson artmaking artist talks panel discussions and interdisciplinary performances. We are committed to advancing accessibility intergenerational exchange and lifelong learning across the museum.
The division encompasses four departments: Creative Aging Inclusive Learning Public Programs and Visitor Services. Together we collaborate across exhibitions and programs to place learning and engagement at the heart of a cohesive visitorcentered experience.

Work Conditions
Work areas are inside in a climatecontrolled environment with light background noise. Work is occasionally performed at other indoor and outdoor event sites. Shift times may vary to meet the museums requirement to staff the facilities at all hours. Work may require weekend hours and extended periods of attendance at museum events.
