Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leisure & Lifestyle Supervisor to join our team at Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning coordinating and implementing leisure and lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Leisure and Lifestyle Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in designing and delivering meaningful personcentered activities and programs for our resident. Your work will contribute to the physical emotional social and spiritual wellbeing of those in our care.
Responsibilities:
Plan coordinate and implement engaging lifestyle and recreational programs
Lead and mentor a team of Leisure & Lifestyle staff and volunteers
Foster strong relationships with residents families and the wider community
Promote resident participation and individual choice in all activities
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards
Ensure programs meet the diverse needs interests and cultural backgrounds of residents
What were looking for:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Leisure & Health or equivalent qualification essential
Previous experience in a similar supervisory role in aged care or a similar setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate creative and resident focused approach
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
Ability to motivate and lead a small team
Current National Police Check and Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
