ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Partner Manager at Benchling you will play a critical role in expanding and managing our partner ecosystem to drive customer success and business growth. You will collaborate with a diverse range of partners including Global System Integrators Consulting firmsBoutique Partners in Life Sciences space Cloud providers and other strategic alliances. This role requires excellent relationship management skills and the ability to align partner activities with Benchlings business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute strategies to identify onboard and manage partners that align with Benchlings business goals.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define partnership objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners ensuring mutual value creation.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners managing daytoday communications and escalations.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify joint gotomarket opportunities and work with partners to execute comarketing and coselling initiatives.
  • Enablement & Support:
    • Equip partners with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively promote and integrate Benchlings platform.
    • Facilitate training sessions share best practices and provide ongoing support to ensure partner success.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales marketing customer success and product teams to align partner strategies with broader company objectives.
    • Provide feedback from partners to inform product development and roadmap priorities.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor partner performance against KPIs ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Regularly report on partner contributions to customer success market expansion and revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 9 years of experience in partner management business development or related roles in the life sciences or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partner relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Resultsdriven mindset with strong problemsolving skills and a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.

SALARY RANGE

Benchling takes a marketbased approach to pay. The candidates starting pay will be determined based on jobrelated skills experience qualifications interview performance and work location. For this role the base salary range is $153K$207K. However because this role is eligible to participate in Benchlings commission plan it is common for employees in this role to receive total ontarget earnings of $255K$345K.
