Job Description
Leader Automotive Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of AutoCanada a publicly traded company. Leader Automotive is AutoCanadas first footprint into the U.S. market and we currently have 10 dealerships consisting of 23 different franchises and approximately 500 employees. We have a strong presence in the Chicagoland area with 8 dealerships and 2 more located in central Illinois. We are searching for talented individuals as we begin a new and exciting legacy into the U.S. market.
We are currently searching for an experienced used vehicle manager to join our team at our Hyundai Palatine store. This is a high volume store and the right candidate will have the opportunity to make an exceptional income. If you have experience as a dealershippreowned vehicle manager and are willing to put in the time at a high volume store wed love to speakwith you. - Manage departmental expense and revenue objectives.
- You will be expected to accomplish sales objectives through planning organizing coordinating and managing the activities of the preowned vehicle sales department.
- Focus on employee retention and employee development practices.
- Effectively manage a large preowned vehicle inventory
- Achieve monthly and quarterly preowned vehicle sales objectives including certified preowned.
- Support Certified Manufacturer certified preowned Programs
- Achieve planned unit sales volume by offering balanced and representative used vehicle inventories.
- Responsible for appraising reconditioning displaying wholesaling and merchandising the product.
- Achieve profit goals by developing and meeting levels of gross profit per unit.
- Ensure proper usage of all software to include website (pricing) vAuto KBB and CARFAX.
- Ensure vendor/partner maintains high picture quality and rapid timetomarket digital representation.
- Support sales associates in helping set and achieve goals
- Maintain a high level of compliance with all Federal and State laws affecting preowned vehicle sales.
- Monitor and maintain departmental customer satisfaction and retention.
- Must have at least 2 years of Sales Manager experience in a car dealership
- Must have a sound understanding of current preowned vehicle market and pricing in the Chicagoland area.
