Job Description
Location: Detroit MI.
Contract role.
W2 only.
Requirements:
8 years of experience in network security engineering.
Handson experience with Juniper firewalls routers and switches.
Strong knowledge of JunOS VPNs and security policies.
Familiarity with IDS/IPS NAT and load balancing.
Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP BGP OSPF etc..
Experience with network monitoring and logging tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network security issues.
Juniper certification (e.g. JNCIS JNCIP) is a plus.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Configure manage and monitor Juniper security devices.
Design and implement secure network architectures.
Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
Respond to and investigate security incidents.
Maintain and update firewall rules and access control lists.
Work with IT teams to ensure network integrity and security.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network security issues.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats.
