Job Description

Overview

Primarily responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the clinical application interfaces. Troubleshoots desktops/hardware/printer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the enduser community in the effective access and use of University Hospital.
  • Monitors and troubleshoots HL7 Protocol Application interfaces.
  • Performs basic hardware repair.
  • Assists with the preparation of documentation and informational materials for nontechnical users
  • Understands and accepts the responsibilities of working in a 24/7 environment

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Computer Science Business Administration Engineering or a related field.

One 1 year of experience in use or support of desktop computing.

Must be proficient in PC support and be able to work in a team environment.

Effective oral and written communications skills.

Equivalent experience education and/or training (IT certifications) may be substituted for the education requirements.
