Job Summary: | Unlock assigned building clean and service restrooms lounges EClassrooms offices public entrances stairways and other areas as assigned by supervision. Work performed to APPA standards as directed. Tasks are routinely performed alone during an eighthour shift but can at times be strenuous and may require teamwork. Receives direct supervision from the Environmental Services Supervisor and work/project coordination from the Environmental Services Specialist. |

Preferred Qualifications | Six months experience vacuuming shampooing steam cleaning carpets mopping stripping waxing buffing floors cleaning restrooms and laboratories. Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform custodial tasks work to heights of 10 feet and ability lift 50 pounds. Ability effectively communicate and maintain good working relationship with customer coworkers supervisors and others to determine needs and ensure continuous process improvements.
