- Enthusiastically practice and promote the Marist Mission of NDP.
- Plan prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop lesson plans keeping in mind the school mission and IB methodology.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning.
- Prepare the classroom for class activities.
- Observe and evaluate students performance and development.
- Assign and grade class work homework tests and assignments.
- Provide appropriate feedback on work.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students progress and development.
- Maintain accurate attendance records using Blackbaud.
- Maintain discipline as prescribed by NDP.
- Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
- Participate in school liturgies department meetings and school events as required.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Participate in Parent/Teacher conferences as required.
- Attend Professional Development courses webinars and meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
