Responsibilities
Benefits Administration:
Partner with the 401(k) and benefit vendors brokers and consultants to optimize plan administration and employee satisfaction.
Provide guidance to HR Managers and Recruiters to ensure consistent interpretation and application of benefit programs.
Resolve benefitrelated issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employer contributions and payroll deductions.
Maintain and update records reports and documentation to ensure compliance with federal state and provider regulations.
Stay current on government regulations and industry best practices ensuring benefit plans remain compliant.
Leave of Absence & Accommodation Management:
Plan organize and administer leave programs including FMLA Military Leave Medical and Personal Leaves and reasonable accommodation requests.
Ensure compliance with federal and state medical and disability leave laws as well as company policies.
Advise management and employees on leave laws and company policies providing clear guidance on processes and expectations.
Support smooth returntowork transitions for employees and managers ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Escalate complex leave and accommodation issues to leadership and collaborate on resolution strategies.
Develop and implement policies procedures and tracking systems to ensure timely handling and recordkeeping of all leave and accommodation requests.
Interpret federal and state laws as well as collective bargaining agreements to ensure compliance with absence management policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide project management support on highimpact departmental initiatives as assigned.
Maintain knowledge of and adhere to workplace safety and health regulations.
Perform additional related duties as required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of benefits or Human Resources
experience.
Experience working with complex benefits programs in a large government contracting environment to include Service Contract Act (SCA)/Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)/Davis Bacon Act (DBA).
Must have a minimum of 2 years of retirement plan administration.
Demonstrated project management and process improvement expertise.
Demonstrated understanding and application of benefit plan laws and regulations including Health and Welfare and Retirement plans.
Experience with vendor management including operational development implementation and maintenance activities.
Ability to manage and adjust to multiple rapidly changing and competing demands and priorities.
Excellent written verbal and presentation skills to effectively represent the company and interact with inside and outside customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on follow through and continuous communication to closure.
A strong sense of urgency a high degree of initiative and the ability to participate as an active and contributing member on crossfunctional teams.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding employee and corporate information.
Fully proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in collection reporting and analysis of data.
Knowledge of HRIS systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with CostPoint Employee SelfServices on Deltek Time & Expense Cognos.
ACA knowledge.
