Job Description
Position Summary:
Performs routine daytoday unskilled activities and limited semiskilled manual work in general maintenance and construction
The schedule will be MondayWednesday 12:00pm9:00pm and SaturdaySunday 8:00am5:00pm.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Obtains work assignments from supervisor contacts person requesting repairs and coordinates with supervisor type of repairs required.
- Cuts grass weeds and brush. Trims trees and shrubs. Cares for shrubs flowers and grass.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of sprinkler system.
- Performs minor carpentry electrical mechanical and plumbing work.
- Performs interior and exterior painting to maintain good appearance of clinic.
- Assists in sanitation control and checks safety hazards.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures objectives quality assurance program safety environmental and infection control standards.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs current literature inservice meetings and workshops.
- Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Requirements
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience Required:
- 5 years of experience in related field preferred.
Verbal and Written Skills Required to perform the Job:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Good oral and written communication.
Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:
Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical equipment and carpentry. Ability to understand and follow directions accurately and on a timely basis.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
May be required to work with some power tools. May be required to work evening and or weekends. Constant walking climbing lifting 1050 lbs. and bending. Travel between location sites.
Universal Requirements:
Preemployment requirements include I9 physical positive background and reference check results complete application new hire orientation preemployment PPDs. Compliance with all mandated vaccinations and all boosters is a term and condition of employment.
