Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
College degree preferred
Experience
2 years sterile processing experience required
3 years sterile processing experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
CSPDT Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician upon hire required OR
CRCST Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire required OR
CBSPD Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire required
What You Will Do
Manage daily operations by facilitating department call assignment schedules to ensure proper coverage as well as maintaining vacation requests.
Oversee workflow for the best needs of the department.
Ensure the rotation of instrument trays for sharpening as well as equipment repairs for CSP Surgery Endoscopy.
Audits the trays of Technicians to ensure that they are done correctly and contain clean properly working instruments and ensures that equipment is delivered properly in a timely manner.
Work closely with service line coordinators and surgeons for any changes or issues that may arise pertaining to Central Sterile Processing.
