The Division of Public Water Supply/Bureau of Water is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Field Operations Section (FOS) Manager located in Springfield IL. The selected candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and be willing to use innovative ways to guide the FOS and its staff consisting of approximately 21 individuals to achieve goals and missions of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA). As a leader for the FOS Section the individual in this position will frequently represent the IEPA and Public Water Supply/Bureau of Water at various levels explaining policies to state federal and local governments industry public interest groups and stakeholders. This individual should also possess the knowledge and experience to initiate and establish policies standards and procedural guidelines for all FOS operations.

Term Appointment:Candidates hired into a term position shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and are subject to a probationary period. The term may be renewed for successive fouryear terms at the Director of the Environmental Protection Agencys discretion.
