Were looking for a detailoriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Finance team. Youll play a key role in supporting our monthly close process maintaining accurate financial records managing daytoday A/P and A/R activities and helping to build scalable processes as we continue to grow. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who is excited to work in a fastpaced startup environment and grow their career.
What Youll Do
- Prepare and post journal entries reconcile key Balance Sheet accounts and assist in the monthend close process
- Manage accounts payable including processing vendor invoices coding expenses ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies
- Oversee accounts receivable by generating customer invoices tracking collections and following up on outstanding balances
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for internal stakeholders
- Support the development and documentation of accounting policies processes and internal controls
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate accounting for key business activities
- Help support the annual audit process including preparing schedules and documentation
- Participate in ad hoc projects and analysis to support the broader finance organization
- Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes
Who You Are
- 24 years of experience in accounting (public accounting or industry experience welcome)
- Solid understanding of US GAAP general ledger accounting and financial reporting principles
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Detailoriented highly organized and enjoy solving problems
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Flexible and thrive in fastchanging dynamic environments
- Enjoy building processes and improving how things are done
Desired but not required:
- Experience with NetSuite or other accounting/ERP systems
- Exposure to highgrowth startups SaaS or manufacturing environments
- CPA or working toward CPA certification
