Position Overview
The Senior Manager IT Infrastructure is responsible for the information systems infrastructure including telephony networks technical support and computer operations and owns issue resolution of all IT infrastructure issues.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical & quantitative skills critical thinking ability high attention to detail ability to derive insights from data and translate into a story that can be presented to both technical and nontechnical audience. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Prioritize infrastructure projects and present solutions for maturity and scale
- Analyze technical and serviced based solutions and provide costbenefit analysis for proposals
- Managing external vendor relationships including contract negotiations RFPs and statements of work
- Manage business continuity and recovery of companys information systems including needs analysis design plan development implementation and documentation
- Lead systems administration maintenance back up restoration and performance optimization in conjunction with external support vendors
- Manage the companys development deployment and of controls and defenses to ensure the security of company technology and information
- Analyze business needs and establish priorities for protection of critical systems and operational policies
- Establish and implement appropriate standards and criteria for hardware software email and web firewall access and encryption requirements evaluate potential business impacts from security breaches and provide strategic and tactical guidance to business decisionmakers
- Ensure the security and protection of company systems and data by maintaining compliance with Adaptive security and information handling policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelors 12 years of related experience in computer science or Information Systems/Technology or equivalent experience or
- Masters 8 years of related experience or
- PhD 5 years of related experience
- Progressive Information Technology and Information System management
- Experience managing and configuring enterprisewide LANs WANs WLANs VPNs etc.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team including mentorship and performance management
- Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards including Active Directory Group Policies Core Switching/Routing SSL/IPSec SAN Virtualization Business Continuity Disaster Recovery
- Handson experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers routers bridges switches hubs modems network interface cards Mac and PC laptops etc.
- Experience working in fast paced technology or biotechnology environments

Compensation
Salary Range: $143200 $214800
Other compensation elements include:

Adaptives posted compensation information includes a base salary (or hourly rate) range and summary of other available total compensation. The base salary range represents a minimumtomaximum salary (or hourly rate) available to candidates upon extension of offer. Base salary is thoughtfully considered upon offer and is determined through multiple evaluation checks throughout the interview process including: a candidates ability to meet minimum qualifications (skills/experience/education) a candidates ability to thoughtfully address preferred qualifications current market conditions and internal pay equity. Listed base salary is exclusive of bonus commission equity differential pay benefits and other incentives.
