FullTime Veterinarian Now Hiring Great Salary Jericho NY

A partner hospital in Jericho NY is seeking a dedicated fulltime Associate Veterinarian to join its compassionate and dynamic team. This established clinic offers a supportive work environment with a focus on providing highquality care for companion animals. Role Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to companion animals in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment. The position offers the opportunity to perform a variety of duties including diagnostic work surgery preventative care and client education. This role will focus on delivering excellent veterinary care and promoting the health and wellbeing of pets while working closely with a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the health of animals.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions illnesses and injuries in companion animals.
  • Administer preventive care such as vaccinations parasite control and wellness exams.
  • Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia with an emphasis on patient safety.
  • Educate clients on their pets health treatment options and preventative measures.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications:

  • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in New York (or the ability to obtain).
  • At least 12 years of experience as a veterinarian but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong diagnostic surgical and communication skills.
  • Compassionate approach to animal care with a focus on client education and patient wellbeing.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
