Job Description
Multiple openings on multiple shifts immediately available.
Compensation: Up to $47/hour plus overtime 10 hours weekly is available) and healthcare benefits available.
Location: Kent WA. These positions are 100 onsite at a space rocket facility with no possibility of remote or workfromhome.
Positions are 624 month contracttohire opportunities with high possibility to convert to FTE.

Performs welding processes on aluminum steel and alloy parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys and precision blending using hand tools to prepare metallic surfaces for welding and nondestructive evaluation. Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures. Joins metal parts to form a permanent bond. Welds metal components and parts using standard specialized equipment such as gas welders and gas torches and may also utilize friction stir welding (FSW) methods using solidstate joining. Uses electrical currents or friction to create heat and bond tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications. Set up and operate large motioncontrolled machines to create friction stir welds on launch vehicles. Perform periodic maintenance on machines with complex pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical systems. Accurately use precision measuring tools such as micrometers calipers and torque wrenches.
