Minimum Qualifications
1 year of experience in disability related services Two years of administrative support experience Experience scheduling appointments for a team with highly complex schedules Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat and Google Docs Experience keeping sensitive information confidential Experience prioritizing a variety of tasks within tight time constraints Knowledge of accommodations available to college or university students Knowledge of accommodation needs specific to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students Basic knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws pertaining to disability/accessibility in education Experience with Assistive Technology e.g. TextHelp Read&Write EquatIO Sonocent
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or graduate degree or related field such as education rehabilitation counseling Knowledge of assistive technology related to accommodations for students with disabilities.
