Job Title: Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
Reports To: Clinical Supervisor / Clinical Director
Employment Type: Fulltime
Location: Blue Bell PA
We are seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to provide highquality therapeutic services to individuals families and groups. The LAC will be responsible for conducting assessments developing and implementing treatment plans and supporting clients through evidencebased counseling practices. Clinical supervision will be provided to support professional development and progress toward independent licensure (LPC).
Licensed Associate Counselor Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual services to clients of diverse backgrounds.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients.
Maintain timely accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with agency and licensing standards.
Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions as required for licensure.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support client progress.
Implement evidencebased therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to client needs.
Respond to client crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
Attend required staff meetings trainings and professional development activities.
Stay current with best practices ethical standards and state regulations regarding counseling.
Licensed Associate Counselor Qualifications:
Masters degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) license in Insert State.
Eligibility and willingness to participate in clinical supervision provided by the agency.
Strong clinical skills in assessment diagnosis and treatment planning.
Excellent verbal written and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to providing culturally competent and clientcentered care.
Previous experience in mental health settings is preferred but not required.
