The Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Team Memberfor the Country Inn and Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront located at 1801 Atlantic Avenue Virginia Beach Virginia 23451.
As aMaintenance Team Member you will play a key role in the repairs and maintenance of the hotel accomplish the preventative maintenance program as Maintenance Team Member must be able to work independently as well as with others.
Core Responsibilities:
- Receive daily work assignments for completion review and prioritize each work order from high to low this includes any special projects.
- Organize materials tools and equipment to perform daily assignments daily.
- Check work orders and night report for any problems. Make the rounds checking these problem areas and note any information needed or safety concerns in the hotel.
- Perform electrical plumbing preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public area work orders.
- Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces according to hotel requirements.
- The candidate must provide a professional image at all times this includes dress and guest relations concerns from guests.
- All other duties assigned supporting the guest satisfaction promise by all department managers.

Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance.
- Desire to operate a best in class hotel.
- The candidate must be able to work different shifts.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional quality work provide guest service results as measured through guest satisfaction.
- A solid job history is required.
- Team player at all times is required.
