Job Description

Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Onsite 4x/week (Local Candidates Only)

Work Locations: Waukegan IL (Chicago IL) Dallas TX

Employment Type: W2

Visa: No Constraints

Note: Candidates must be local to one of the above locations and available to work onsite 4 days per week. Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support enterpriselevel database environments within a missioncritical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep Oracle database administration expertise experience with RAC and Data Guard and a background working in Agile environments. This is a handson role focused on administration support and optimization of Oracle database systems across production and nonproduction landscapes. Required Skills (Please provide # of years of experience with each):

Oracle Database Administration in enterpriselevel environments
Linux/Unix systems experience with scripting (e.g. Bash Shell or similar)
Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) setup configuration and support
Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery
Experience working in an Agile development environment

Plus Skills (Nice to Have):

Prior experience working at Abbott or within the life sciences industry
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate for data replication/migration

Additional Information:

Schedule: Onsite 4 days/week (Hybrid 1 day remote)
Only local candidates will be considered (North Chicago/Waukegan Plano or Irvine areas)
Contract Duration: Longterm contract or contracttohire depending on candidate fit
