Job Description

We are partnering with a distinguished client of a skincare and cosmetics line to offer the position of Beauty Sales Associate in Bergen County NJ. This temporary position (May 27th through July 31st) offers an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious skincare and beauty brand providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the promotion of the product line. The ideal candidate will have experience working with highend skincare lines within a luxury retail setting be proficient in tracking daily metrics and have experience with skincare consultations and assisting walkin traffic.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Luxury Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by offering personalized skincare consultations demonstrating product application techniques and providing expert advice tailored to individual customer needs.
  • Sales and Promotion: Actively engage with customers to promote the products answer questions and provide detailed product information driving sales and enhancing brand loyalty.
  • Skincare Consultations: Conduct thorough skincare consultations to understand customer preferences and recommend suitable products ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • WalkIn Traffic Assistance: Efficiently manage and assist walkin customers ensuring they receive prompt courteous and attentive service.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the skincare line including product benefits and application directions to effectively educate and inspire customers.
  • Metrics Tracking: Accurately track daily sales metrics and provide detailed reporting to the team lead using these insights to improve sales strategies.
  • Inventory and Display Management: Assist with inventory management including stocking shelves organizing products and maintaining a visually appealing and orderly display.
  • Event Participation: Actively participate in all aspects of the popup event contributing to a dynamic and engaging customer experience and the successful promotion of the product line.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Professional Experience: 13 years of experience working with luxury skincare brands in highend retail environments such as spas and department stores. Aesthetician license is desirable.
  • Customer Interaction: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for engaging and assisting discerning customers effectively.
  • Consultation Expertise: Proven ability to conduct detailed skincare consultations and provide personalized product recommendations with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and promoting highend products in a retail setting.
  • Numerical Proficiency: Comfortable with numbers and experienced in tracking sales data and performance metrics.
  • Product Passion: Deep passion for skincare and beauty products with the ability to quickly learn and convey sophisticated product details.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work parttime hours throughout the duration of the popup event including weekends and peak hours.
  • Polished Image: Maintains a polished and professional appearance in line with luxury brand standards.
  • Organizational Skills: Capable of managing inventory ensuring product displays are wellmaintained and keeping accurate records.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance and productivity.

  • Experienced Skincare Specialist/Aesthetician: Skilled in working with highend luxury skincare brands and providing exceptional customer service.
  • SalesOriented: Ability to drive sales and promote products in a luxury retail environment.
  • DetailOriented: Proficient in tracking metrics and providing accurate reports.
  • Flexible: Willing to work parttime hours Monday through Saturday.
  • Team Player: Works well in a team environment and contributes to the success of the event.
  • Fast Learner: Two days of inperson product line training will be required prior to the popup event.
