SAP ABAP Consultant with BTP
Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Develop test and maintain ABAP programs in the SAP environment.
- Design and implement solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and update technical documentation for developed objects.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and efficiency.
- Utilize SAP UI5 and Fiori design principles in application development.
- Integrate with thirdparty APIs and services using web services.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Support and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Work with SAP tools such as Data Dictionary Smart Forms and SAP Script.
- Conduct unit and integration testing of the developed solutions.
- Implement enhancements and assist in system upgrades as needed.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of SAP BTP offerings and best practices.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in ABAP development.
- Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Proficient in ObjectOriented ABAP programming principles.
- Experience in developing and modifying reports interfaces enhancements and forms.
- Knowledge of SAP UI5 and Fiori application development.
- Experience with database systems and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with web services (SOAP and REST).
- Experience in Agile methodology and project management tools.
- Strong problemsolving and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in relevant SAP technologies is an advantage.
- Understanding of SAP Best Practices and architecture.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in cloudbased solutions is a plus.
