Job Description
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls identifying financial and operational risk ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing recommendations to enhance overall efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate should have experience in the FMCG sector strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field
Must have worked in the Food Manufacturing Industry in a similar role for a minimum of 7 years.
Minimum 7 Years of experience in Internal Audit
Strong understanding of financial accounting risk management and internal controls.
Experience in food manufacturing or biscuit production is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Proficiency in financial analysis fraud detection and forensic auditing techniques.
Prior experience in ERP systems and audit software is preferred.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel Accounting software (SAP QuickBooks or Oracle) and data
analytics tools.
Understanding of Kenyan tax laws corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Highlevel integrity professionalism and ethical conduct.
Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
